Free forever, no signup

No API key, no account, no cookies. The widget loads in an isolated iframe and never tracks your visitors.

Any city on Earth

Pin the widget to a destination, fall back to a default, or auto-detect the visitor's own location.

Three polished styles

Editorial gradient, minimal stat grid, or circular sun-dial — all light/dark themed to match your brand.

Live + 5-day forecast

Hourly UV index plus burn-time guidance and a 5-day peak UV outlook.

Lightweight & fast

Frequently asked

Is the widget really free?+

Yes. The widget is free for personal, editorial, educational, government, and commercial sites. The only requirement is that the small "Powered by Daily UV Tracker" link stays visible.

Do I need an API key or account?+

No. Paste a single <script> tag and the widget loads. There is no signup, no key, and no cookies set on your visitors.

Will it slow down my page?+

No. The loader is around 5 KB, loads async, and the widget is rendered in a lazy iframe so it never blocks rendering or Core Web Vitals.

Can I show the visitor's own UV instead of a fixed city?+

Yes. Switch to "Auto-detect" mode and the widget asks the browser for the visitor's location, falling back to a city you choose.

Where does the UV data come from?+

UV index, burn time, and 5-day forecasts come from public meteorological data. Risk categories follow the WHO UV index scale.
